Massimo Volonte'

 

About

Massimo Volonté was born in 1975 in Como, Italy and he grew up between Como, Milan and Venice.

During High School he developed his passion for arts and in particular for painting and architecture.

He studied at Politecnico of Milan, specializing in interior and furniture design and museography.

After the degree in Architecture in 2000, he started to work as designer and project manager for important companies.  He has gained experience abroad developing a natural curiosity for different cultures and a different approach to the world of interior design and construction. Working day by day with and for most of the Italian fashion brands as supplier, he developed a strong knowledge of the mechanism of retail design.

In 2004, Massimo joined Citterio-Viel & Partners as project architect developing the concept for De Beers, Bulgari Hotels and working on different residential projects and hotels.

In 2006, Louis Vuitton offered Massimo the chance to move to Paris and work as architect for the Service Architecture Dept. with the responsibility of restyling and new project for the LV stores in USA (East Coast and Central Regions of USA and Canada). This job gave him the opportunity to travel around the USA and to explore the Parisian culture.

Strong of this international experience he moved to Florence in 2008 to work for Salvatore Ferragamo SpA as Group Store Planning Director. He is responsible for coordinating the image and building the network of stores of this brand.

He currently lives between Florence, Como and New York.
